The short version
- You log meals, photos and blood sugar readings so you can track them. That is what the data is for.
- We do not sell your data, show ads, or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- Only you can see your entries. You can export them, or delete your account and everything in it, at any time from inside the app.
- Glyvello is a personal logging and wellness tool. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.
What we collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifiers or browsing history. Glyvello does not use your microphone. Reminders are scheduled on your phone and do not send your data anywhere.
How AI estimates work
When you save a meal, its note and photo are sent to Anthropic's Claude service to estimate calories and carbs. Anthropic processes this only to return the estimate and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. [Confirm current Anthropic data retention terms and link them.]

Some of these providers are outside Canada, so your information may be processed in other countries and be subject to their laws. [Lawyer: confirm PHIPA / PIPEDA cross-border wording, and HIPAA applicability for US users.]
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your entries, photos, settings and plan record are deleted right away from our database and storage. Backups held by our providers are removed on their normal schedule, within [30] days.
Your choices and rights
- See and export: Export creates a PDF report or spreadsheet of your log at any time, including after a free trial ends.
- Correct: Edit or delete any entry in the app.
- Delete: Settings, then Delete account, removes your account and all your data. Step-by-step instructions. If you subscribed, also cancel in your App Store or Google Play settings, because deleting the account does not stop store billing.
- Ask us: Email privacy@glyvello.com for any privacy request. We reply within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our hosting provider. Database rules make sure each account can only read its own entries and photos. Photos are stored privately and shown through short-lived links.
This website
glyvello.com uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security, for a short time.
Children
Glyvello is not intended for anyone under [16].

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
